![]() ![]() You can then restart the Ghost service or preferable reboot. Be sure to tick the box show hidden files and folders in "folder Options" and "View". To get to Services right click computer and manage and click on Services. If not go to services and stop the Ghost service and then navigate to C:\ programme Data\Symantec\Norton Ghost\ History-schedule. When you uninstalled and re-installed Ghost that should have cleared the history, go to advanced tab and check that the history has gone. just cancel that option and close the UI. When you install Ghost the main UI will appear and automatically want to backup with settings for a full backup etc. Is there a difference between what I just did and what you are saying I should do? I don't need that, do I? I already stored one. Now, If I go to Tasks - One Time Backup, the screen text says it is going to store a recovery point. The event log shows that I have a good recovery point stored. It automatically went on to doing a file backup, but that failed again. Immediately after installation, it gave me an option to store a recovery point, and I did that. ![]() I have uninstalled and reinstalled Ghost 15. ![]()
